This project consists of transporting and installing one precast concrete toilet and the associated site work at the Herman Gulch Trailhead site located on the Clear Creek Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests. The toilet construction would include, but not limited to, quality control, clearing and grubbing, demolishing the existing abandoned concrete pad and vault, hauling of existing toilet vault and all associated features off-site to a state-approved landfill, new structure excavation, bedding and compaction, backfilling, site grading, transporting and installing a double vault toilet, and supplying and installation of concrete bollards, and resetting in-place of any parking bumpers or any existing features that are displaced as a result of construction. The existing vault hole shall be utilized and modified to accommodate the new toilet, as necessary. The primary objective is to provide quality facilities that are attractive, functional, safe, and economical to operate and maintain, and which comply with applicable codes, standards and principles of sustainability and accessibility standards at the trailhead site. The finished product must be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This is a presolicitation snyopsis for GXT Toilet Replacment in the Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland.
