Hoover Reservoir Boat Launch and Boardwalk Construction Management and Inspection Services. The City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department works in concert with the City's Division of Water and the City's Division of Watershed Management at Hoover Reservoir to provide facilities and support for the highly popular boating, water sports, birding, and fishing activities that prevail there. The boat ramp component of the project consists of the construction of a new boat launch ramp with floating docks, pavement improvements to the adjacent parking lot, rip rap shoreline armouring on either side of the boat launch ramp, and the demolition of the existing boat launch ramps.
