The Rockland Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for Plumbing Maintenance and Repairs Service Contract for the Rockland Housing Authority in Rockland, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents herein. The estimated three (3) year value of this Contract is $ 126,000 All sealed Bids are subject to applicable bidding laws including, but not limited to M.G.L. c.149 _44A - H, M.G.L. c.30 and applicable federal procurement laws. To the extent there are inconsistencies between state and federal procurement laws, the more stringent standard will be followed for purposes of this Invitation for Bids (IFB). General bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the bid amount and made payable to the Rockland Housing Authority. The Contractor and all subcontractors (collectively referred to as "the Contractor") agree to strive to achieve minority and women workforce participation. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities. The Workforce benchmark percentages are a statutory requirement under MGL c. 149 _ 44A(2)(G). There will not be a pre-bid conference. All questions and requests for interpretation must be submitted in writing to Margie Carr at director@rocklandhousingauthority.com no later than Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. Questions and requests for interpretations may be responded to via addendum, as determined by the Owner.
