Renovation of a residential development in Rockland, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The ROCKLAND HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority,invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Emergency Generator at State Aided Development: Studley Court (667-1) in Rockland, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by JOHN MURPHY JR. ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING,INC. The Project consists of but not limited to: Installation of a new diesel emergency standby generator. The scope of work includes the provision of a weatherproof automatic transfer switch and a weatherproof panel board. Additionally, the project involves extending the branch circuit from the house panel to a new outdoor weatherproof panel board. Limited asbestos abatement is also included in the scope of work.The work is estimated to cost$81,200.00. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 08/15/2025 at 4:00PM EDT for general bids. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates)and made payable to the ROCKLAND HOUSING AUTHORITY. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities.
