Site work and paving for a road / highway in Croswell, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Croswell is requesting sealed proposals for the pavement wedging on Croswell Road from Harrington Road to Seltzer Road. The work includes placement of HMA pavement 8 ft. wide, 1.5 inches thick along the road edges and tapering towards the road centerline to act as a temporary surface until the road is reconstructed in the summer of 2026.The material will be placed over the existing material that currently exists. Contractor will be responsible to broom the surface prior to placement of the material. Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Surface Course: MDOT 501.02, HMA, 4EML.MDOT 904.03, Asphalt binder 64-28, Aggregate Wear Index (AWI) 220, Bond Coat: Asphalt material SS-1h. MDOT 501.02 and 904.03.C. Estimated quantity is 220 tons. Provide a per ton price for all the work. The city will direct the contractor where the exact limits of the work will be completed. The work must be completed by July 15,2025 This project is NOT subject to prevailing wages. The City of Croswell reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Croswell.
