Project In accordance with MGL c. 30 section 39m, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a construction firm for the purposes of constructing approximately 10,600 feet of roadway milling and paving along Pond Street and Washington Street/King Street, and 2,600 feet of paving along Grove Street within the Town of Franklin. Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Bidders must be pre-qualified with MassDOT for PAVEMENT SURFACING for the amount of the Estimated Construction Cost indicated below. The work to be performed will include milling 2" of existing asphalt and repaving with 2" of hot mix asphalt top course, with other incidental work as required. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work. The work to be performed will include pavement milling and hot mix asphalt paving and other incidental work as required.
