Site work and paving for a road / highway in Franklin, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project: Bidders must be pre-qualified with MassDOT for PAVEMENT SURFACING for the amount of the Estimated Construction Cost indicated below. The work to be performed will include milling 2" of existing asphalt and repaving with 2" of hot mix asphalt top course, with other incidental work as required. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work. The work to be done under this Contract consists of the construction of approximately 10,600 feet of pavement milling and hot mix asphalt paving along Pond Street and Washington Street/King Street, and 2,600 feet of hot mix asphalt paving along Grove Street within the Town of Franklin. The work to be performed will include pavement milling and hot mix asphalt paving and other incidental work as required. The construction duration is 90 calendar days.
