Renovation of a residential development in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,910-square-foot residential development.
Residential conversion of a building to develop affordable housing. Bids must be submitted through and must be on the forms furnished by the Owner and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total price bid made to the Owner. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of on hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The Bidder's attention is called to the fact that the project is receiving funds under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. The successful Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u (section 3). Award of Contract, if a Contract be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities and to accept the bid, which it deems, in its sole judgment, to be in the best interest or the organization.
