Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of February 06, 2026, the project was awarded to CLC Contractors but the awarded amount is not available.** Sealed bids are requested for Contract No. WWTP-490, which entails the restoration of concrete sidewalks, driveways, aprons, curbs, and sites that have been affected by water main breaks and replacements for the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority in Levittown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Delivery of all proposals to the Authority office is the responsibility of the bidder. Bid proposals submitted by FAX or E-mail will not be accepted. Bidders must have experience in successfully completing at least three similar size projects within the last three years. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or Surety's Consent and a Bid Bond payable to the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority in an amount no less than ten percent of the total bid. The selected surety will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to one hundred percent of the contract price, on the specified bond forms. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality, or to accept any proposal deemed most favorable to the interests of the Authority. No bidder may withdraw their bid within ninety days after the actual date of the bid opening. The work consists of furnishing and providing all labor, tools, required equipment, materials, methods, processes, implements and machinery which are necessary and required to repair, and/or install, and/or replace, and/or restore and put in complete order for use; concrete sidewalk, curb, driveway, driveway apron and minor street patching in areas of trenches excavated for the repair of water mains of the Owner and/or similar work involving concrete and/or bituminous concrete work required within the Owner's service area. The work sites are located in Bristol, Falls, Middletown Townships and Tullytown Borough. Regulations and specifications of PennDOT and each Township/Borough shall be applicable. The Contractor shall be required to obtain applicable construction permits from each Township/Borough's License and Inspection Department at their own expense. Permit fees paid for the work required under this Contract and approved by the Owner are reimbursable. The Contractor shall submit a copy of the permit and proof of payment to the Owner for reimbursement consideration. All work shall be subject to inspection by PennDOT and/or the respective Township/Borough Inspection Department as well as the Owner. The Contractor agrees that the bituminous paving, concrete curb, sidewalk, driveway, and/or apron trench backfill, site grading, etc. and other work covered under this contract shall be free from all defects and be guaranteed for a period of one (1) year from the date of acceptance and any defect which may develop within this period shall be replaced and/or repaired by the Contractor without any expense to the Owner. The Contractor is required to meet all Pennsylvania One Call requirements prior to digging. The Authority does not guarantee any specific amount of work under this contract. For the purpose of estimating an amount of the bid bond, performance and labor and material bonds, the Contractor shall consider installation of 500 ft 2 of 4" concrete, 500 ft 2 of 6" concrete, 100 Linear feet of curb, 100ft 2 ofdriveway and 1 handicap ramp with cast in place truncated dome grid surface and 1 handicap ramp without cast in place truncated dome grid surface.
