Sealed bids are requested for CONTRACT NO. WWTP-489 to furnish and supply new Kennedy fire hydrants, valves, and pipe to Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Bid proposals must be submitted in hard copy only, as submissions via FAX or E-mail will not be accepted. Contractors who wish to bid must have experience in successfully completing at least two similar-sized projects within the last five years. Each proposal must include a certified check or a Surety's Consent and a Bid Bond made payable to the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority in an amount no less than 10% of the total bid. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract price, using specified forms described in the contract documents. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any informality, or accept the proposal deemed most favorable to their interests.
