The City of Bridgeton reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive immaterial information. For those interested in submitting a response, please complete the Request Form on the City Website (cityofbridgeton.com) and submit by email to the Municipal Clerk: almanzan@cityofbridgeton.com. The form must be filled out in its entirety and the Bid package will be sent to you at the email you provided within three (3) business days. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner required by the specifications. Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of bidder and name of project on outside and addressed to the City of Bridgeton. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid but no greater than $20,000. Consent of Surety from an approved Surety Company must also be submitted with the Bid. Please be advised that any bidder who fails to submit a "Consent of Surety" with the bid can anticipate that the bid submitted will be automatically rejected. Pursuant to C57, Laws of 2004 (s1778) all business organizations that do business with a local contracting agency are required to be registered with the State and provide proof of that registration to the contracting agency before the contracting agency may enter in a contract with the business. All bidders shall adhere to the information as classified as "New Jersey Business Registration Requirements". Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. This is a prevailing wage project and all bidders are required to comply with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act of N.J.S.A. 34:11- 56.25 et seq. Scope of Work: Remove and replace sod on field and designated surrounding area. Till and grade for leveling and proper drainage.
