Emergency Water Main and/or Storm and Sanitary Sewer Repairs The contract runs from 12/1/2025 to 11/30/2027, with a one year option of the co-op to extend. Each bid submitted must be made upon the prescribed forms furnished with the bid specifications, including the non-collusion affidavit, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid and not to exceed $20,000.00. Such checks and Bonds shall be made payable to the Borough of Northvale, acting as Lead Agency for the Riverside Cooperative, and will be held as a Guarantee that in the event a submitted bid is accepted and a contract awarded to the bidder submitting the selected bid, the contract shall be duly executed and its performance properly secured. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with all provisions of prevailing wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. If awarded a contract, your company/firm will be required to comply with the provisions of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. S12101 et seq.). This contract is subject to the "Municipal Mechanics' Lien Law", N.J.S.A. 2A: 44-125 et seq. as amended July 25, 1996, and the Financial Standards for Surety Bond Companies, N.J.S.A. 2A: 44-143 and 144, effective January 10, 1996, as well as The Workplace Accountability in Labor List (The WALL) L. 2019, c. 366 (N.J.S.A. 34:1A1.16). All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days. The Borough of Northvale, acting as the Lead Agency for the Riverside Cooperative, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest possible bidder. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
