Renovation of a municipal facility in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Generator Installation for the Upper Yoder Township Municipal Building Three Copies of the Bid Sheet must be accompanied by a certified check, made payable to Upper Yoder Township, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid amount. The sum will serve as bid security and will be retained by the Township as liquidated damages in the event that the Bidder withdraws from the competition after the bids have been opened, or refuses to execute the required contracts and Bonds, if its Bid is accepted. The Township may retain the amount of the certified check, or proceed on the Bid Bond. The bid security will be returned to the successful bidder, when it meets these requirements, and will be returned to all other bidders when its bids are rejected. The Township reserves the right to hold all bids for sixty (60) days after their opening and to accept or reject any and all bids during said sixty (60) day period and during said period; no bidder may withdraw its bid. The Township also reserves the right to waive any technicalities. ***As of July 30, 2025*** There were no bids received on the project. The Township is going to revisit the scope of work. They are thinking about not doing the whole building but, just the police department. They have not decided when the new BDT will be.
