As of September 9, 2025, the project has not yet awarded. The project will be funded by the Pennsylvania Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program as administered by the County of Cambria. Site Improvement Activities involve all work incidental to the construction of improvements to various streets in the Township of Middle Taylor, to include but not be limited to, the removal of existing pavement, 1.5" milling of 1,445 S.Y. of bituminous pavement, 2,045 S.Y. of 2A subbase - 6" depth, 95 Ton of 2A subbase leveling/shoulders, 860 Ton of superpave asphalt mixture design base course, 535 Ton of superpave asphalt mixture design wearing course, 50 L.F. of SLCPP and inlet box, excavation, traffic control, erosion and sedimentation control, site restoration, quality control, clean up and related activities. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Cambria, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, at par value, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid for Site Improvements, will be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder must furnish 100% Performance, and Labor and Materialmen's Bonds before the awarding of the Contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Cambria reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to readvertise or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Cambria for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
