Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to Upper Yoder Township in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid amount of the lowest of the alternative bids made for the first calendar year. The sum will serve as bid security and will be retained by the Township as liquidated damages in the event an award is made and the required performance bond or other sufficient surety is not delivered to the township within twenty (20) days after the award or any other contract requirements is not promptly acted upon. The bid security will be returned to the successful bidder, when he meets these requirements, and will be returned to all other bidders when their bids are rejected. The Township reserves the right to hold all bids for sixty (60) days after their opening and to accept or reject any and all bids during said sixty (60) day period and during said period; no bidder may withdraw his bid. m Upper Yoder Township for a three (3) year contract (Years 2026, 2027 2028) commencing January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028, with two (2) one (1) year option periods, commencing January 1, 2029 The Township also reserves the right to waive any technicalities.
