Contract consists of the construction of roadway signage, sharrows, an asphalt parking lot, a restroom, and other site appurtenances. The project is in Franklin Borough, East Conemaugh Borough, and the City of Johnstown, Cambria County, PA. The Contractor shall adhere to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates and shall comply with the provisions of the Act of March 3, 1978 (P.L. 6, No. 3) known as the Steel Procurement Act. Prior to the award of the contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond to the Owner, in the form contained in the Contract Documents and executed by a satisfactory circular 570 listed surety, each equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The bidder will also furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the contract documents. This project is being financed in part by a Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation. The obligations imposed on the Owner by the financing agency shall apply to and be acceptable to the successful bidder.
