Introduction The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) is seeking to engage a qualified vendor to perform repair work at our Long Island City facility due to damages sustained during a recent flood. The selected vendor will be responsible for restoring the facility to its pre-damage condition in accordance with all applicable codes and standards TLC anticipates awarding one contract to a City-certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE). This solicitation is being issued in accordance with the M/WBE Noncompetitive Small Purchase Method, as outlined in Section 3-08 of the Procurement Policy Board Rules. Accordingly, this procurement is exclusively open to City-certified M/WBEs. The total value of any contract awarded under this method-including all change orders, overruns, amendments, renewals, and extensions-may not exceed $1,500,000. Scope of Work Please provide itemized quotes for the following areas. Vendors must bid on all areas and must clearly specify all inclusions. A walk-through will be required prior to submission of final quotes. A detailed Scope of Work is attached for reference. Anticipated Term: The anticipated term for this project shall be no more than two months from the start date. However, TLC strongly prefers vendors who can complete all work within one month. Vendors should clearly indicate their proposed project timeline in their submission. Anticipated Budget: The anticipated budget for this contract is $175,000, subject to final approval. This solicitation is being made pursuant to the M/WBE Noncompetitive Small Purchase Method, Section 3-08 of the New York City Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules, this procurement is exclusively for the City Certified Minority and Woman Owned Business (M/WBEs). Contracts awarded under this method may not exceed $1,500,000, inclusive of any and all change orders, overruns, amendments, renewals and extensions.
