REQUIRED BID SECURITY: Each bid must be submitted with security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract, if awarded to the bidder, and will provide the performance and payment bonds, insurance certificates and other documents described in the Contract Documents. Such security must be in one of the following forms: (1) a cashier's check made payable to the AUSD; (2) a certified check made payable to the AUSD; or (3) a bond made payable to the AUSD in the form set forth in the Contract Documents. Any bond must have been issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120 REQUIRED CONTRACTOR LICENSE: The class(es) of California contractor's license(s) required in order to bid on and perform the contract for this Project is: Contractor's License Requirement: Class A and/or Class B PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a separate payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The forms of the bonds are set forth in the Contract Documents and all bonds must be issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. The successful bidder and each of its subcontractors of any tier will be required to pay not less than the general prevailing rates of per-diem wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract ("Prevailing Wages"). A copy of the per-diem rates of Prevailing Wages applicable to the Project is on file and available for review at the location specified above as the place for submitting bids, and a copy will be posted at the site of the Project. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the specifications noted in the bid. The AUSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. In the event of identical bids, the Superintendent of Schools or designee may determine by lot which bid shall be accepted per Public Contract Code 20117. 1. Resurface and striping of 9 Tennis/Pickleball Courts. Approximately 65,000 SF. Reference per spec section 32 1823 2. Clean and seal all cracks per section 32 1823-3.03 3. Sand down the repaired areas on the courts before surfacing 4. Apply 4 coats of acrylic resurfacer to the courts 5. Apply 2 coats of full acrylic color to the courts Court colors to be selected from the manufacturers standard color options through the submittal process.. Submit samples for approval and reflect colors on the shop drawing submittal. 6. Layout and Stripe 9 Tennis Courts with white line paint 7. Overlay layout and Stripe 9 Pickleball Courts with line paint (faint line color suggested by manufacturer/installer as to not distract from the tennis court) 8. Cut o8 old tennis net posts and use as a sleeve for new tennis net posts 9.
