Renovation of a municipal facility in Bradford, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Operations and Nature Centres at Scanlon Creek Conservation Area, (2450 Line 9, Bradford, ON) provide office, meeting, classroom and laboratory space for Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority staff and clients. The facilities are serviced with 3-phase electricity provided by Hydro One, delivered across the conservation area property by an elevated transmission line owned by the Conservation Authority. The transmission line is comprised of wooden poles, many of which are past their service life and require replacement to ensure safe and consistent power supply. The Conservation Authority is seeking qualified electrical contractor services to provide all material and labour necessary to remove existing wooden poles, replace them with new poles that are similar in height and meet current standards, replace any components as required to meet current specifications, and coordinate with Hydro One, ESA and other agencies having jurisdiction. Utility pole replacement is to be completed in 2025.
