Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Atlanta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 50,000-square-foot transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; restaurant; and retail development.
Plans call for construction of five new gates for Airplane Design Group III-sized aircraft at the north end of Concourse T with parking positions, passenger boarding bridges, preconditioned air, 400HZ power, an FDA Group III taxi lane, hydrant fueling and charging stations for airline electric ground services equipment. The scope also included 50,000-SF of concessions within the terminal and a new $20 million fire station. Our team relocated major utilities, coordinated each construction element with multiple phased turnovers to mitigate passenger impact, and broke the project into 13 GMPs to provide greater cost control and enhance minority participation. As of May 28, 2026, the project has been completed. The firm timelines were not released.
