Fort Gibson Station Service 480V Switchgear Replacement. *AM0007 - This Amendment is to post site visit information and extend the proposal due date, please review attachments for details. The scope of work involves the replacement of the existing 480V switchgear at Fort Gibson Station. The project includes removal of the current equipment, installation of new 480V switchgear, and all associated electrical connections and components necessary to ensure proper functionality and compliance with applicable standards. Work must be performed in accordance with specifications provided in the solicitation documents, including testing and commissioning of the new system to ensure operational readiness. The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 540 calendar days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. THE MAGNITUDE OF THIS PROJECT IS BETWEEN $1,000,000 AND $5,000,000. The bidder inquiry key for this project is: U6P9WU-8X9JKE Fort Gibson powerhouse has a 480V station service system, fed by two 750KVA station service transformers. The 480V distribution system is critical for operation of generators and plant auxiliaries. It powers the switchyard, six Motor Control Centers in the plant, two lighting transformers, the powerhouse crane, and supports four dam feeders. Most of the equipment is original, obsolete, and becoming increasingly difficult to maintain or repair as it is well past its design life. The 480V station service switchgear will be replaced along with control and feeder cables. The switchgear is currently located in the control room. A short-circuit study revealed that most of the equipment is underrated for the fault current available in the plant, which creates an elevated hazard to both operating equipment and personnel in the vicinity of the equipment. Due to concerns for operator safety in the control room, the switchgear will be relocated to the terminal room below the control room. The routesfor the 480V feeder cables will be maintained to the maximum extent practical. The main 480V supply feeders will need to be rerouted from the station service transformers to the new 480V switchgear location via exposed conduit and cable tray. The total proposed Small Business Participation shall meet or exceed the following minimum percentages of the total contract value: Small Business (aggregate across all categories): 15% Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB): 5% Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB): 5% HUBZone Small Business: 3% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB): 3%
