Project Scope: 1. All Work is to Be Completed at the Exterior Only Window Abatement & Restoration: 1. All Hazardous Materials Are to Be Removed Per Specification 2. Remove All Existing Loose Caulk. 3. Scrape and Sand All Existing Sashes, Window Frames, Sills and Decorative Trim Pieces. 4. Replace All Deteriorated Wood Where Needed (Sills, Frames, Stops, Etc.) Per Specification 063000. See Specification for Definitions or 'repair' and 'replace' as Noted in the Window Schedules. 5. Re-caulk Per Specifications. 6. Contractor to Provide & Install Operable Window Blocks @ 8" Above Lower Sash So That When in the Locked Position, the Window Can Not Be Raised Above the Block, Except Where Rescue Window is Indicated. 7. Re-paint All Exterior Window Surfaces Per Specification. 8. Provide New 'rescue Window' Stickers at Designated Windows Masonry Scope: 1. Repair All Stone/pre-cast Concrete Per Elevation. 2. Repair/re-point Brickwork as Noted Per Elevation. 3. Vertical Joint Replacement Scope 3.1. Base Bid: Replace All Vertical Masonry Joints at South (Entry) Elevation - Sills, Base, Banding & Trim 3.2. Alternate #1: Replace All Vertical Masonry Joints - Sills Only 3.3. Alternate #2: Replace All Vertical Masonry Joints - Base, Banding & Trim 4.
