REMOVAL OF LEAF MATERIAL ON JUNE 20, 2025 The project involves removal of approximately 5,000 to 6,000 tons of leaves collected by the Township of Haverford and stored at the Township of Haverford Public Works Yard at 1 Hilltop Road, Havertown, PA 19083. All leaves collected by the Township of Haverford will be collected by vacuum trailers. There will be no plastic or paper bags in the collected leaf product. The contractor will provide truck tractors and walking floor trailers to be loaded with the Township of Haverford equipment. Work hours for loading material will start at 6:30 A.M. and end at 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. The contractor must keep up with Haverford's collection so that 80% of the leaves collected be removed each day. The project will begin in the first week of November and all leaves must be removed by mid-January. All loads will be weighed and documented at the Contractor's processing facility. This will be a two-year contract covering 11/1/2025 to 10/31/2027. No bidder may withdraw the bid within (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Township of Haverford reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
