Site work for a water / sewer project in Cookeville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of installing approximately 850 LF of 6" waterline, 4,800 LF of 2" waterline and replacing approximately 73 meter sets. Technical questions regarding the contract documents should be addressed to Matthew Phillips at mdp@cookeville-tn.org. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or Bid Guarantee Bond in the amount not less than Five Percent (5%) of the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions for Bidders. Bids shall also be accompanied by an affidavit of a drug-free workplace as required by T.C.A. 50-9-113 and as detailed in the Instructions for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price, each Bond. All bidders must be licensed contractors to perform the type of construction herein described as required by Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 6, "The Contractors Licensing Act of 1994" as amended. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids as deemed in the best interest of the City, and in the event all bids are rejected, the project may be re-advertised.
