Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Glennville, Georgia. Working plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
As of 7/11/2025 the project has been cancelled. The City of Glennville is currently accepting sealed bids for the installation of a new HVAC system at the City Auditorium. This project includes the supply of all necessary materials, equipment, and labor required to complete a full, code-compliant installation. Scope of Work Includes: o Removal of existing HV AC components o Installation of a new, energy-efficient HY AC system o All required electrical and control systems o System startup and testing o Compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, codes, and regulations No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of thirty (30)days. All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, drawn in favor of the City of Glennville, Georgia, in the amount of 5% of the total lump sum bid. This bond ensures that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and furnish both Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract value, as required by law and approved by the City Attorney. Failure to execute the contract and provide the required bonds within ten (10) days after notification of award will result in forfeiture of the Bid Bond to the City of Glennville as liquidated damages. The City of Glennville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding process.
