The work consists of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary for sanitary sewerage system rehabilitation. This includes, but is not limited to, 6,330 linear feet of 8-inch CIPP lining and 668 linear feet of 4-inch CIPP lining. The project will consist of cleaning, pre-tv, post-tv, manhole rehabilitation, removal and replacement of asphalt, traffic control, and temporary/permanent grassing. The allotted time for completion of the work is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. Question Deadline 03/25/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Questions received less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, are required of the successful bidder. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating and a financial strength of at least five times the contract price. Each bond shall include a Power of Attorney authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and be certified to include the date of the bond. The contractor must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a "Utility Contractor" and must employ a "Utility Manager" certification holder who will have oversight of all the work. Additional requirements may be present in the Instruction to Bidders. Bidders must comply with E-Verify regulations. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
