Demolition, site work, remodeling and addition to an educational facility in Adams, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 3,600-square-foot educational facility; for the addition of a 3,200-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Adams Campus Addition and Remodel The project to be bid consists of remodeling approximately 3,600 sq.ft. building addition, and 3,200 sq.ft. of interior remodeling. Work includes General Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical. Each Bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the sum of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The required security must be in the form of a bid bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Wisconsin and named in the current list of "Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds" as published in the Federal Register by the Audit Staff Bureau of Accounts, U.S. Treasury Department. The Surety Company must have an AM Best rating of A- or better. Bond will serve as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute the agreement and provide a Performance and labor and Material Payment Bond. Bid Securities of all bidders except the three (3) lowest bidders will be returned within ten (10) days after the bid opening. Bid securi-ties will be returned to remaining bidders after execution of the agreement. Bid securities will be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute and return Agreement and Bonds to owner within ten (10) days from receipt of agreement for signature. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, when, in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Work will commence after July 14, 2025 and Phase 1 shall be Completed by June 1, 2026. Phase 2 and 3 shall be completed by August 1, 2026. Liquidated damages will be in affect. Bid date description: All Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, identified as Mid-State Bid #842 Addition and Remodel clearly marked on the outside of the envelope and endorsed by the bidder. Lump-sum bids will be received for General Construction to encompass all work under one contract. Bidders shall direct questions, by FAX or email only (Verbal answers are not binding on any party).
