Site work for a multi-residential development in Decatur, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a multi-residential development.
DHA has an immediate requirement to solicit interested qualified companies/individuals to remove and install mailboxes located inside at Jordan-Neil and Summer Manor Apartment buildings. Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor and materials, (DHA will furnish the mailboxes) tools, equipment, security, services, water, light, heat, power, transportation, and supervision necessary for the satisfactory performance of the work subject to this QSP. Although DHA has attempted to identify all of the needs, the scope of work may or may not be all-inclusive. 17.1.1 Remove existing mailbox units (inside interior). Jordan-Neil has a total of sixty-one (61) mailboxes and Summer Manor has a total of eighty-five (85) mailboxes. 17.1.2 Confirm new mailboxes will fit into existing space. Contractor will be responsible for making the necessary adjustments to insure a property fit of the new mailboxes. 17.1.3 Secure the mailboxes and complete the installation to include any trim on the interior or exterior that may be required. 17.1.4 Install framing on interior to be same as attached drawing labeled DOCUMENT P-4. 17.1.5 Remove all penetrations in all wall areas in the mail room and make necessary sheetrock and paint repairs. 17.1.6 Prep interior and exterior walls and all surfaces for painting. Color of wall to be determined DHA. All trim to be gloss white. Ceilings to be ceiling white flat paint. 17.1.8 Work area must be kept clean and free of debris because this building is a busy senior high-rise with tenants coming in and out throughout the day. CONTRACT TERM: The Contractor shall commence work under the ensuing contract on a date to be specified within a Notice to Proceed form issued by the Agency and shall fully complete all work thereunder within 45 consecutive calendar days from said date. NOTE: Any bidder that may have any concerns pertaining to the noted "45" may provide your concerns via email. Normal working hours shall be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT. DHA RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: The DHA reserves the right to: 3.1 Reject any or all quotes, to waive any informalities in the QSP process, or to terminate the QSP process at any time, if deemed by the DHA to be in the best interest of the DHA; 3.2 Terminate a contract awarded pursuant to this QSP at any time for its convenience upon delivery of a 10-day written notice to the apparent or successful Quoter; 3.3 Determine the days, hours, and locations that the successful Quoter shall provide the items or services called for in this QSP; 3.4 Reject and not consider any quote that does not, in the opinion of DHA meet the requirements of this QSP, including but not necessarily limited to incomplete quotes offering alternate (not including "or equal" items) or non-requested items or services.
