The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Replace-Upgrade existing showers and eyewash stations tomeet the code requirements. 2. The project shall be performed in the following sequencing of work based on available Project funding: Base Contract Project Work: Install exterior waste piping and connect to existing waste piping, install central tempered water system and risers, install third floor horizontal tempered water piping, install vertical waste and vent stacks, install horizontal drains, waste, and vent piping on the third floor to emergency showers and drains, and install emergency showers with curtains and eyewashes on the third floor. Option 1 Project Work: Install second floor horizontal tempered water piping, install horizontal drains, waste, and vent piping on the second floor to emergency showers and drains, and install emergency showers with curtains and eyewashes on the second floor. Option 2 Project Work: Install first floor horizontal tempered water piping, install horizontal drains, waste, and vent piping on the first floor to emergency showers and drains, and install emergency showers with curtains and eyewashes on the first floor. Option 3 Project Work: Install ground floor horizontal tempered water piping, install emergency showers with curtains and eyewashes. Type of Contract 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. If questions are submitted after July 17th and you were not an attendee of the site visit and therefore would not be technically acceptable for award under Evaluation Factor 1, a response will not be provided.
