Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Largo, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
All communications pertaining to this contract shall carry the reference "City Bid No. 25-B-839". The Project consists of 1st Ave SW Raised Crosswalk. As part of the City's investment in the redevelopment of the West Bay Drive downtown corridor and to improve pedestrian safety, the City of Largo is planning to install a mid-block raised crosswalk on 1st Ave SW between 2nd Street SW and 4th Street SW. The scope of work includes installing a mid-block raised crosswalk over the existing crosswalk located south of Ulmer Park. The raised crosswalk consists of a brick path with a header curb border and asphalt friction course ramp. Landscape planters and irrigation shall be installed at the four corners of the crosswalk. Installed irrigation will be connected to the existing irrigation system located in Ulmer Park. Existing curb ramps shall be reconstructed, and existing brick paved paths will be reconstructed to meet new sidewalk elevations. The scope of work will also include MOT and as builts. No Pre-bid conference will be held at this time. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
