Provide labor to re-do the exterior repairs of T111 to the portable classrooms throughout the district. The contractor will need to remove the door, and either the steps or the ramp to complete this work. All portable classrooms are 24 x 36: removing the T111 down to the framing to expose damage to the 2-x framing and replacing. Some of these portables will have repairs around the door openings requiring the door to be removed and reinstalled. If there are any tie down straps that are rusted and need to be replaced at this time. New Tyvek on the exterior wall will be installed, cut and fold it into the window and door openings. Install T111 cutting out for the doors and windows and fasten it to the framing with #8 galvanized ring shank nails. Install all windows with 1 1/4 galvanized roofing nails then tape the nail flange of the window using flashing tape (attention to the flow of water). Install a 1x4 cedar trim over the flashing tape and will finish up with a 3/4 round or inside corner on the inside. Re install the door, jam, threshold and the closer making sure that there are no gaps, and the door is closing properly. Install all corner trim and fill all nail holes with caulk. The grounds will be returned to their original condition, and a magnet will be ran around the area on a daily basis. Daily cleaning up of the site is mandatory. This work shall be completed by a Florida licensed Commercial, Building or Residential Contractor. The State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) are part of the Florida Building Code. SREF requirements shall apply to construction, renovation, and remodeling of public educational facilities owned by Pinellas County School Board.
