The base of work consists of reshaping the roadbed by reestablishing ditches and pulling the road width back to a standard width by cutting the shoulders and adding acceptable material to the existing surface. The new surface will be constructed with a crown of no less than 4%. Additional work will include cleaning lead-out ditches, cutting the washboard, filling potholes and covering large rocks. Once the approved roadbed is prepared, commercially purchased aggregate consisting of CDOT class 6 1"-minus road base material with a pi between 2-9 shall be hauled, placed and compacted using layer placement method 204.11(a)(1) to a 4" depth and a 12' to 18' width at the Williams Creek Campground, Colorado. 8. Project Location. The work will be conducted at the Williams Creek Campground, Colorado. Latitude and Longitude 37.4946, -107.2274. 9. Estimated Period of Performance.
