The building is located at 5851 Park Blvd. Pinellas Park. This project will be comprised of three components. o Renovation of existing building including waterproofing. o Hurricane hardening of the building. o Site prep including new parking, landscaping, and pedestrian access. These three phases will need to be estimated separately according to the engineered plans provided, and then rolled into a lump sum for the entire project. The project will also need to be invoiced, for work completed, per the three individual phases so that accounting can be kept separate from different funding sources. Bear in mind, that whomever is selected, that General Contractor will be required to follow Davis Bacon and Section 3 requirements through the project. Phase 1 of 3 Renovation of the existing Park Station building including but not limited to: demo of portions of the current interior, framing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and full reno of the interior finishes and upgrades. The interior will be comprised of new offices for the city's administration as well as new City Council Chambers. This project will be combined with two other phases of construction. Phase 2 of 3 Hurricane hardening of the existing Park Station building including demo of windows, doors, clock tower hatch and sealing, soffit and fascia as determined, and reinforced steel placed throughout the building's exterior walls as determined by the engineer of record. This phase of the project will also include items, called out by a licensed inspection firm, to ensure that the building exterior is 100% water tight and ensure that the buildings envelope is structurally sound to help prevent future damage from wind and driven rains. The City of Pinellas Park will be exercising its option to use Owner Direct Purchasing for a new generator. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to coordinate the delivery and installation of the generator. Phase 3 of 3 This phase will include all the site work, parking lot, sidewalks, and pedestrian egress for the newly renovated building as well as landscaping and irrigation. There will be demolition of existing walkways in order to reestablish the site and allow for proper drainage and grade that will affect the overall site. This phase will include items such as flatwork, paving, striping, and DOT and roadway requirements, all per the engineered plans and specifications. PN - 74228, 058IB25, PPARK22003, HJARC25003, 25001
