The project is awarded to UNITEC in the amount of 19, 303.65 The City of Pinellas Park is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish and install fiber optic infrastructure between key municipal buildings using existing underground conduit. This project includes all necessary materials, labor, testing, and certification to ensure a fully operational and standards-compliant fiber network. Scope of Work 2.1. Fiber Cable Installation Install approximately 5,200 feet of 48-strand armored Outside Plant (OSP) single-mode fiber optic cable from City Hall to a pull box located at 78th Avenue and 59th Street, using existing underground conduit. 2.2. Phase One - Community Development Connection From the 78th Ave/59th St pull box: o Extend 6 fiber strands to the Community Development building. o Perform a splice of 12 pairs at the Community Development pull box to integrate with the existing fiber line to the Public Works building. o Ensure clear documentation and testing of this segment. 2.3. Phase Two - Public Safety Campus (Future) o Terminate the remaining 18 strands at the 78th Ave/59th St pull box to support future extension to the new Public Safety campus. o Include the cost of splicing and extending new fiber as part of this project. o Utilize existing underground conduit between the pull box and the future Public Safety site.
