The District of West Vancouver (the District) invites submissions of Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced firms interested in providing project management services for the reconfiguration of the West Vancouver Operations Centre and the construction of a new Fire Station within the Operations Centre site. The project involves the reconfiguration of the Operations Centre site to accommodate new bulk material handling operations, revised site entrance, the construction of a new Fire Station, the relocation on-site of existing functions displaced by these changes, and the reconfiguration of onsite circulation and parking. The project manager will act as the District’s owners representative and oversee all project coordination, site planning, civil engineering, design consultants, cost control, construction, and all project reporting. The project manager will assist District staff with the procurement and administration of all design consulting and construction contracts. The project manager will coordinate with the Cypress Village project office, neighboring development, Provincial Ministries, Utilities, Tenants (3 operating cell towers), and multiple West Vancouver departments. The project manager will report to the Director of Planning, Development & Environmental Services and the Director of Finance & Corporate Services. The project budget is approximately $15.5M.
