Owensboro Municipal Utilities (OMU) is soliciting bids for the fabrication of steel for a 69 kV tie project at OMU Substation M. Bidder/Manufacturer shall provide structural steel, assembly bolts, fasteners, and anchor bolts. Bidder/Manufacturer will not provide bussing, insulators, switches, bus connectors, or foundations. Steel shall be manufactured to exact specifications to drawings included with bid package and well as Bill of Material. General Requirements: o All structures shall be constructed of galvanized steel. o Main members of the structure shall be no less than 1/4 inch thick. o Structures shall provide for the minimum clearances per industry standards. o Base plates shall mount to foundations using leveling nuts.
