Renovation of a museum in Port Tobacco, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

The National Park Service, Contracting Operations East, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office, issues this Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction requirement at Thomas Stone National Historic Site in Port Tobacoo, Maryland. Work will consist of furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, license, certificates, permits, personal protection equipment, professional services, and equipment as required to renovate the Visitor Center restrooms as detailed in the Project Manual, included with the solicitation documents. The estimated magnitude of the complete requirement is between $100,000 and $250,000. Participants will meet at 6655 Rose Hill Road, Port Tobacco, MD, 20677. Pre-proposal questions shall be submitted no later than 10:00 am ET on July 1, 2025. Submit questions only though email to the following: Contracting Officer, Jason Albright, Jason_Albright@nps.gov *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Period of Performance: 08/01/2025 to 12/01/2025 A. Project Location: Thomas Stone National Historic Site, 6655 Rose Hill Rd, Port Tobacco, MD. B. The Work consists of the following: 1. Demolition of all toilet partitions, restroom accessories, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, floor and wall tile in both men's and women's restrooms of the visitor center as noted on the construction drawings. 2. Limited work in the utility chase between restrooms of the visitor center as necessary for plumbing and electrical demo and reconnections. 3. Surface repairs and replacement of removed items, including all required electrical and plumbing connections, as noted on the construction drawings. 4. Installation of new surface mounted door openers for both restrooms as noted on the construction drawings. 5. Photographic and written documentation of the performance of the above listed items. 6. Supply of all labor and materials to perform the above listed items. 7. Legal disposal of all removed materials associated with the performance of the above listed items. 8. Final cleanup as needed for a proper and workmanlike repair project.
