The City of Helena-West Helena is accepting bids for the following items and services: Grass Cutting/Lawn Service (Service to be Provided twice during each 28 day period between June 16 and October 6, 2025)(This will total 8 cuts - The mayor may authorize up to three additional cuts based upon holidays and weather conditions) Please provide a price per cut (Number of cuts not guaranteed) City parks -North Helena; -Wardell Simes (Washington Street); -Little Rock Road Park {near Elm, South and Jane Streets}; -10th Street Park; -Eliza Miller Park; -Solomon Playground; -Kelly Courtyard; -Riverpark; -Parts of the Levee for which the city is responsible; -Plaza Street Library grounds; -Plaza Street Museum and Memorial Grounds; -All city-owned property on Biscoe St. (Scenic Byway Spots: one by the flag poles near Jimmy Haynes and one across from the Edwardian Inn) -Areas around the Welcome to HWH Signs (one at the old Cunningham and one at Welcome Center); City-Maintained Areas on Hickory Hill Drive, Newman Drive, and Springdale Road; -Sewer Ponds Helena; -Sewer Ponds West Helena; -Solar Field by Airport; When the bids are opened, the City will award the bids in accordance with state law and city policy. The Mayor will have the final say on all bids or proposals. He can accept or reject the bids.
