Project Davis Elementary School - Roof Restoration. Bidders must be certified by DCAMM in Roofing. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Question Deadline 06/20/2025 at 5:00 PM ET All requests for information on the bid documents must be emailed to Ms. Marcia Pyles, Town of Bedford Information and Procurement Analyst, marcia_pyles@bedfordps.org Work in this Contract shall include, but is not limited to the following items: 1. Remove, dispose and replace existing EPDM roof membrane, rigid insulation and associated components where all wet insulation is found. 2. Prepare existing EPDM roof membrane for application of new roof coating per manufacturers recommendations; see specifications for additional information: a. Clean the entire existing roof membrane utilizing an approved high grade cleaner, ensuring tight adhesion between existing roof system and new roof coating is obtained. Remove roof protection pads prior to cleaning the surface. b. Cover area of work the day prior to prevent moisture from collecting on substrate. Surface to meet manufacturers requirements prior to liquid applied roof coating system application. c. Apply grid marks on existing roof membrane prior to applying new roof coating to ensure proper coverage rate. Measure out and mark a square area with upside down spray paint in accordance with the manufacturers coverage requirements.
