Demolition, site work and new construction of a residential development in Huntington, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for the construction of a 1,100-square-foot, 10-unit residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

To complete the reconstruction of up to ten (10) single family units at 1100 square feet each. GrantWorks, Inc on behalf of the homeowners listed below and the Administrator is soliciting proposals for the demolition and reconstruction of up to ten (10) three bedroom single-family homes located within the City of Huntington, Texas. The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) HOME program is the funding source for this project. ADDRESS: 106 E. Pecan St., Huntington, Tx 75949 157 Barbe Street, Huntington, Tx 75949 213 E. Spruce Street, Huntington, Tx 75949 ** 618 Gibsonville Rd #2, Huntington, Tx.75949 ** 615 E. Spruce St., Huntington, Tx 75949 Selected Builder will have 60 days from start date to complete construction. The Contractor must ensure that employees/applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The city of Huntington reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The city of Huntington may hold bids for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to contract award. Demolition will be bid as an additive alternate. 2. Complete turnkey pricing of unit built to GrantWorks plan 1104 and specifications dated 5-2-23 and instructions in this bid package. Additional changes to the plan must be pre-approved in writing by the administrator or administrator's representative (housing specialist). Any changes made without preapproval will be corrected at builder's expense. 3. Transfer of power either to Pole or to temporary pole (including placement of pole) and back to permanent, once home is complete (included in base bid). 4. Removal of Gas lines if required to construct home (included in base bid). 5. House to be constructed on slab, per plans and specifications referenced above. If home is located in a flood plain, benchmark for foundation height will be provided by licensed surveyor before construction and certification will be provided after foundation pour. Survey arrangements to be made and paid for by Builder. 6. Pre-treat pad area for termite control with Bayer Premise. 7. All lot preparations including proper drainage grading, before and after construction. 8. Removal and Replacement of any fencing, or other improvement, for access to lot. 9. The replacement of water, (gas See below) and sewer lines from meter, or tap, to the structure. Hot water heater, cook stove, and central heating will be electric, unless the Housing Specialist or homeowner specifies propane or gas in writing at, or before, pre-construction conference. 10.
