DO NOT SUBMIT ANY QUESTIONS OR AN OFFER AT THIS TIME. Description: The contractor shall: Remove and replace well motor and shaft for well 1. Remove well 1 pump and damaged parts. Replace head shaft, spider bearings, stuffing box bushing, & 6" tailpipe. Install all new parts and assemblies that were replaced back to working condition. All manufactured equipment and products shall be new materials in good condition and installed as per manufacturer's latest printed instructions, unless specified otherwise herein. The Contractor is responsible for protection of existing facilities equipment from damage during installation and testing operations. Contractor shall take into account the special treatment of hazardous waste, as well as the environmental implications related to building demolition management (i.e. fluorescent lighting tubes, t-stats, etc.). Every effort shall be made to recycle eligible materials, and those not suitable, shall be disposed of off base in accordance with all (SCDHEC) South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control regulations.
