Rudyard Area Schools will receive bids for the repaving of the parking lots. o Sawcut existing asphalt longitudinally along Second Street o Sawcut each respective building entrance sidewalk o Excavate 35' x 804' (including 5' sidewalk parallel to building) to a depth to allow the following pavement profile o Place 6 oz separator fabric, overlap fabric joints a minimum of 2 feet o Place 10" of 21AA Limestone over separator fabric, compact in place o Pave with 3" of hot mix asphalt o Place 10' x 20' striped parking stalls along the entire paved strip, six stalls shall be ADA compliant, with two of these having a van unloading area o Place ADA compliant signage on the grass side of each stall, with the van unloading areas having the appropriate "van unloading" sign included Requirements Removal of old blacktop and sidewalks and dispose of material on site in area defined by school officials. Relining parking spots and drop-off areas as prescribed by the school district. Bidder must use District Proposal Forms. Failure to use provided forms will result in rejection of bid. Bidder must submit with their bid the proposed specifications. Bidder shall list any variations from or exceptions to the conditions and specifications of this bid. Bidder is advised that the District is exempt from Michigan Sales tax. The price quoted shall be "out the door" F.O.B. Rudyard Area Schools 11185 W 2 nd Street, Rudyard, MI 49780. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities and make the award in the best interest of the District.
