Brick replacement Area #1: Demo existing faux brick and old red brick from exterior and replace with split face cement block (CMU). Approximately 345’ linear feet by 11’ high, to be field verified. Clean and prep the area of the building for new brick installation. Install new split faced CMU that the school has on site currently to code. Mortar the brick to the school's specified color choice to match existing CMU. Adjust roofing facia and duralast roofing membrane as needed to match new split faced CMU. Contractor is responsible for all necessary permits and plan review as required by the State of Michigan. Demo and install two window openings in CMU and two unit vent air grills. Window lintels provided by the owner. Brick replacement Area #2: Demo existing faux brick and old red brick from exterior and replace with split face cement block (CMU). Approximately 217’ linear feet by 12’ high, field verify. Clean and prep the area. Install new split faced CMU that the school has on site to code. Mortar the brick to the school's specified color choice to match existing CMU. Adjust roofing facia and duralast roofing membrane as needed to match new split faced CMU. Minimum specifications include removal of current brick and cleaning up all debris, prepping the exposed area to ensure proper weatherization and seals, installing the new split faced CMU, mortaring to specified color, and meeting a completion deadline. Contractor must provide any cost savings proposals. Bids must include a sworn and notarized disclosure of any familiar relationships between the bidder and Rudyard Area Schools Board of Education members or Superintendent. Bids without this disclosure will not be accepted. Contractors must also certify compliance with the Iran Economics Sanction Act.
