Grease Trap Service shall include the effective treatment of all areas related to cafeteria operations; including kitchen property, storage rooms, garbage rooms, locker rooms, dining rooms of all school cafeterias and any drains pipes, fixtures and grease traps connecting any part of the fore-mentioned including inside and outside the facilities if necessary. The number of cafeteria sites needing service is subject to change based on District needs. If required, a Bid Bond must accompany the sealed bid. Each Bidder shall submit a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond with their bid in the amount of $2,500.00 or 5% of bid amount whichever is greater. Such bond will be payable to the Independent School District #89 of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, d/b/a Oklahoma City Public Schools, 2500 N.E. 30th Street, Building #3, Room B105, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73111. The bond shall be forfeited to the District the cost of republication of notice to bidders, all actual expenses incurred by reason of Bidder's default, and the difference between the low bid of the defaulting bidder and the amount of the bid of the bidder to whom the contract is subsequently awarded, but not to exceed the amount of the Bid Bond, in the event that the apparently successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract or fails to provide the required Bonds and Insurance to the District. In accordance with state law, the continuation of this contract may be extended for four (4) one-year option periods dependent upon available funding and if mutually agreed upon by both parties. OKCPS reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept any bid deemed most advantageous to the school district and/or waive any bid. The District is under no obligation to accept any bid.
