Gainesville Housing Authority (GHA) is reimagining the Pine Meadows neighborhood and surrounding areas as part of a greater initiative to bring significant positive momentum to the East University area! This project aims to revamp a former barbershop and residential unit and its parking lot into a hub for locally sourced goods for the community, by the community! The improvements will include exterior rehab to match the newly renovated ELITE Force Training Center adjacent to the project site. Non-structural interior rehab to prep that space for its new intended use. Extensive electrical work to bring new lighting to the area, including a new sign visible from the road. Last but not least, improvements to the grounds and hardscapes. Our goal is to have this project completed by September 2025 Question Deadline 06/26/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Deadline to Submit Questions.
