This is a request for quotes to provide and install two high-tensile woven wire fences for wolf abatement--one near South Range, WI (Douglas County), and the other near Bayfield, WI (Bayfield County). Interested parties may quote on one location or both. The NAICS code is 238990, with a small business size standard of $19 million. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor this site for amendments, if any. Questions concerning this synopsis should be directed to Jim Roloff, contracting officer, at james.g.roloff@usda.gov. The solicitation and attachments are posted below. The estimated magnitude of this project for Bayfield County is between $25,000 and $100,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Build predator-proof fences around the perimeter of calving pastures to prevent wolf/cattle conflict. The estimated lengths of the fences are 13,150 feet for the South Range location, and 6,250 feet for the Bayfield location. Five gate openings are required at each location. Approximate gate locations are detailed on attached maps with exact locations coordinated with landowner.
