The University of Maryland College Park is requesting proposals from responsive and responsible bidders for Janitorial Services at the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS) Building 807. The University is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all labor, equipment, supplies and materials necessary to perform janitorial services. The contract term shall commence on the date the contract is signed on behalf of the University or such later date as the University directs. The initial contract term shall terminate one (1) year after the beginning date unless extended or sooner terminated in accordance with the contract. Question Deadline 07/02/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Requests for clarification or additional information must be submitted in writing, via email, to the Point of Contact and received by the Issuing Office. At the sole option of the University, the contract may be renewed for up to four (4) additional separately exercisable one (1)-year terms under the same terms and conditions. If the University elects to exercise the option to renew the contract for any additional successive one-year period, any requests for adjustments to contract price(s) for the additional one year shall not exceed the current contract increased/decreased by no more that the percentage increase/decrease of the "All Urban Consumers (Current Series)" for Washington All Items (DC-VA-MD-WV) of the CPI-U Section of the Consumer Price Index (Series ID:CUURS35ASAO) of the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics for the latest twelve months for which statistics are available. Increase shall not exceed 5% for any annual increase.
