The WORK to be performed under the CONTRACT consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, transportation, fuel, power and water, providing environmental protection, and performing all operations in connection with Overbrook Seawall Replacement Project. The project is located at 1995 Neptune Drive, Englewood, Florida in Section 15, Township 40, Range 19 East, Sarasota County. This WORK must be completed according to the CONTRACT documents within the time specified in the CONTRACT and within compliance with the conditions of the Federal, State, and local permits. The CONTRACTOR is solely responsible for all construction means, methods, techniques, procedures, lay out, and the sequence of the WORK except as set forth in section "Order of WORK". The County intends to select a contractor to remove and restore the Overbrook Drive Seawall. The County anticipates to execute a Construction Contract for the duration of the Project. Refer to the Solicitation Documents and Attachments section for minimum qualifications, scope/specifications, and insurance requirements. Excavation, grading and stabilization of canal banks with excavation of sediment traps. Construction of the Overbrook Drive Seawall Replacement project will reduce stream bank erosion, remove exotic vegetation, reduce sedimentation and provide treatment for stormwater.
