Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR) is acquiring services in this contract to provide wildland fire hazard fuels reduction and wildlife habitat improvement by hand cutting (Lop and Scatter) standing live and/or dead Juniper trees and saplings. This task order includes the contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. The work includes clearing a project area totaling about 2,047 acres as identified on the attached site maps. Bids should be submitted on a per-acre basis. Work under this contract is located approximately six miles west of the town of Vernon, UT (see Maps) on the east slopes of the Sheep Rocks Mountain range. The total number of acres within the project area is 2,047acres. The work location is shown on the general location and site maps. Elevations range from 6200 to 8000 feet within the project sites. Access to the site: Access onto the project site is provided by a combination of paved highways, county dirt surface roads and jeep trails. Four (4) wheel drive vehicles are recommended in and around the project area. It will be the contractor's responsibility to get the equipment to the work site. Project Performance Time: Implementation is expected to take 30 consecutive workdays. Work can be completed after May 15 th and before Oct 30th 2025. Questions Due Date: Jun 13th 2025, 2:00 PM MDT.
