Sealed bids will be for furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for construction of the following being improvements for the City of Tyler, Texas: City of Tyler Bid Number: 25-073 Project Name: Group 3 Private Lateral Program The project includes: Group 3 of the Private Lateral Program (PLP). The deadline to ask questions is 6/27/2025 5:00 PM CST The purpose of the PLP is to reduce extraneous flows, including inflow and infiltration (I&I) caused by defects in private laterals serving customers. For purposes of this project, a defective private lateral is any private service line that connects to the sewer system that discharges any substance that is not intended to be transferred via the sewer system, such as storm water, surface water runoff, and roof runoff. Rehabilitations will focus on items as follows: Replace Cleanout Cap or Install T-Cone Stopper - 231 rehab locations; Repair Broken Cleanout - 67 rehab locations; CCTV Lateral to Determine Condition - 196 rehab locations; Disconnect Abandoned Service Lateral - 13 rehab locations; Disconnect Yard Drain - 4 rehab locations; and Point Repair on Service Lateral - 3 rehab locations. This project will focus on City of Tyler sewer basin 14 and 18. Any questions/answers or addenda will be managed through online. In accordance with House Bill 1295, for certain contracts entered into on or after January 1, 2016, the successful bidder must submit a Certificate of Interested Parties (Form 1295) at the time the signed contract is submitted to the CITY.
